Refund Policy
Last updated: March 30, 2026
This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made from Thecoa Foundry, operated by Nguyen Quang Khai.
Payments for products sold through our website may be processed by Paddle, which acts as the authorised reseller for our digital products. This Refund Policy should be read together with Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Refund Policy where applicable.
Nothing in this Policy limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have under applicable laws. Where local consumer protection laws provide greater rights, those rights will apply.
1. Digital Products
All products sold by Thecoa Foundry are digital products, including typefaces (fonts), font licenses, and related design assets.
Because digital products are delivered electronically and may be accessed immediately after purchase, transactions are generally non-refundable except where:
- required by applicable law;
- the product is defective or materially different from its description;
- we approve a refund at our discretion; or
- another refund right applies under Paddle’s policies or applicable consumer protection rules.
2. Statutory Withdrawal and Consumer Rights
Depending on your country or region, you may have statutory rights to withdraw from a digital product purchase and request a refund.
For customers in regions including the European Union, European Economic Area, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, consumers may have a 14-day withdrawal right for certain digital content and services.
However, this right may not apply once digital content has been downloaded, accessed, or otherwise used where you have expressly consented to immediate access and acknowledged that your withdrawal rights may be lost.
Nothing in this section affects your rights regarding products that are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose.
3. Refund Request
To request a refund, please contact us at:
Email:thecoa.foundry@gmail.com
Please include:
- your order or transaction details;
- the email address used for purchase;
- the product purchased; and
- the reason for your request.
Refund requests must be submitted within any applicable statutory period or within 14 days of purchase where requesting a discretionary refund.
If eligible, approved refunds will generally be processed using the original payment method where possible.
4. Discretionary Refunds
We may, at our discretion, approve a refund request submitted within 14 days of the transaction date.
Refund decisions are reviewed individually and may consider factors including:
- the reason for the request;
- whether the product has been downloaded or used;
- the type of product purchased;
- whether technical issues prevented use of the product; and
- any applicable legal requirements.
A discretionary refund granted in one situation does not create an obligation to provide refunds in future cases.
5. Technical Problems or Product Defects
If you experience a technical issue or believe that a product contains a material defect that prevents you from using it as described, please contact us first.
We will make reasonable efforts to:
- identify the issue;
- provide assistance or troubleshooting;
- provide updated files where appropriate; or
- offer another suitable resolution.
If the issue cannot reasonably be resolved and a material defect is confirmed, we may provide a refund in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
6. Duplicate Purchases
If you accidentally purchase the same product more than once, we may issue a refund for the duplicate transaction after verifying the purchase details.
7. Subscriptions, Add-ons, and Additional Purchases
If we offer subscription products or additional digital services in the future:
- cancellation will prevent future charges but will not automatically provide a refund for previous payments;
- add-ons linked to a subscription may expire when the related subscription ends unless otherwise stated; and
- refund eligibility will follow the same rules described in this Policy unless applicable law requires otherwise.
8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank, card issuer, or payment provider, we encourage you to contact us first so we can attempt to resolve the issue.
If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated, access to the relevant product may be reviewed or temporarily restricted while the matter is investigated.
This does not affect any legal rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws or payment provider rules.
